Terms of use

1. About us and these terms
Cyclone Indoor Cycling ("Cyclone", "we", "us") is run by [COMPANY NAME], a company registered in England and Wales, company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. You can contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
These terms apply to your use of the Cyclone website and app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over.
- You sign in with a link we email to you. Keep your email account secure, and do not share your account with others. We may suspend access if it appears to be shared.
- Give us accurate details and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.
3. What the Service includes
Cyclone lets you connect a compatible smart trainer, heart rate monitor and other sensors using Bluetooth in a supported browser (currently Chrome or Edge), ride free rides, workouts and routes, view a live dashboard, upload rides to Strava, and check your bike fit from a video you film. Features may change as we develop the Service. We will not remove a feature you have paid for without offering a fair alternative or refund.
Device and browser compatibility varies and we cannot guarantee that every trainer or sensor will work.
4. Plans and payment
- Free plan. Limited features, shown on our website, at no charge.
- Subscriptions. Monthly or annual plans renew automatically until you cancel. The price and renewal date are shown before you pay. We will email you before an annual plan renews.
- Lifetime access. A one-off payment for access to the Service for as long as we operate it. It is not for your lifetime or ours, and does not include future separate products. If we decide to close the Service, we will give you at least 90 days' notice.
- Prices include VAT where it applies. Payments are handled by Stripe. We may change prices; for an existing subscription, a new price only applies from your next renewal and after at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before then.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time. See our refund and cancellation policy.
5. Health and safety
- Cycling and hard exercise carry a risk of injury. See a doctor before you start or change your training, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have not exercised recently.
- Workouts that control your trainer (ERG mode) set the resistance for you. Stop if you feel unwell, dizzy or in pain, and use the pause or end controls or simply stop pedalling and unclip.
- Set up your bike, trainer and space safely and follow the manufacturers' instructions.
- Heart rate, power zones and other figures are estimates and training guidance, not medical advice.
- Bike fit. The bike fit tool gives general guideline ranges based on a video and common fitting practice. It is not a substitute for a qualified bike fitter, physiotherapist or doctor. Make changes gradually, one at a time, and stop and seek professional advice if something hurts or goes numb.
6. How you may use the Service
You agree not to:
- copy, resell, rent, sublicense or share the Service or access to it, except as these terms allow;
- scrape, reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code, except where the law gives you that right;
- attempt to interfere with, overload or break the security of the Service or other users' accounts;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaches the terms of Strava or another connected service.
7. Our rights in the Service
We and our licensors own the Service, including the software, design, text, logos and the Cyclone name. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own personal use while you have access. Third-party components are used under their own licences. Cyclone is not affiliated with or endorsed by Strava, Wahoo, Zwift, Garmin or any other brand we may mention to describe compatibility. Their names belong to their owners.
8. Your content
Workouts, routes and other files you load stay on your device. You keep ownership of them. You confirm you have the right to use anything you load, and you are responsible for it.
9. Third-party services
Some features depend on services we do not control, such as Strava, Stripe and your browser. We are not responsible for their availability, changes or terms. Your use of Strava is governed by Strava's terms.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance. We may update the Service, and we may change these terms for good reason (such as new features or legal changes). We will tell you about important changes before they apply, and if you do not accept a change that is to your disadvantage you may cancel and, for subscriptions, get a refund for any period you have paid for but will not use.
11. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Nor do they affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including that digital content and services must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.
- Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach, for loss of profits or business (you are using the Service for personal use), or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Ending your access
You can stop using the Service at any time and cancel your plan as set out in the refund policy. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we end your access for any other reason, we will refund any amount you have paid for the period after the end date, other than for lifetime access, which will be handled under section 4.
13. General
- These terms, with our privacy policy and refund policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
- If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still do so later.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring claims in your local courts, and you may use your local law's consumer protections wherever you live.
- Questions or complaints: [CONTACT EMAIL].
